The Bridge Hackathon: Building with Prompts Across Korea and Japan

Cognisor AI announced an online workshop for May 12, 2026 as part of The Bridge Hackathon, a Korea–Japan initiative involving the GDGoC communities of Korea University, Yonsei University, Waseda University, and The University of Tokyo.

The announcement named Farhan Morshed and Faisal Irfan as facilitators of “The Art of Building with Prompts.” Its stated topics were AI-assisted idea research, prompt engineering, and rapid MVP workflows. The post also said the facilitators were invited as judges for the May 16–17 hackathon at Korea University. This article summarizes that historical announcement; it is not a report of attendance or winning projects.

An exercise for your next prototype

Our recommended exercise is to write the same task three ways and compare the outputs against a short rubric. Keep the model and example input consistent so that you can see what the prompt changed.

1. Define the task. Describe the user, input, desired result, and output format.
2. Add boundaries. Specify what information the system may use and when it should ask for clarification.
3. Test a difficult example. Include missing information or an ambiguous request and inspect the response.
4. Keep evidence. Save the prompt, output, and your reason for accepting or rejecting it.
